Our Story
Carl Feather Homes is a family operated business serving the needs of homebuyers from the same location since 1966. We believe in treating people as we would expect to be treated. We deliver and install the homes we sell, using our own equipment and our own employees. We work with several contractors who specialize in foundations, excavation, decks, porches, and concrete work which allows us to have better control over our schedule and the quality of installation. We believe correct installation is one of the most important things to consider when purchasing your new home.
We are a member of The Bedford Chamber of Commerce, The Bedford county Builders Association, The Pennsylvania Manufactured Housing Association, and The West Virginia Manufactured Housing Association. We display approximately 20 homes at our sales center. You are invited to come in and compare our prices. We are committed to giving you the most home for your money. If you compare what you’re getting for what you are paying, we know you will buy your new home from us. Our dedicated staff will assist you with all your home buying needs, from financing, set up and delivery.
About Arrowhead Acres
Arrowhead Acres is a land lease community for seniors age 55 and over. (That means that at least one of the occupants must be 55 or older) When complete there will be a total of 59 lots. All homes in the community will be end entry two section homes and will be sold and installed by Carl Feather Homes. Landscaping will be done by Carl Feather Homes and is included in the set up package. A yard light, a tree, and shrubbery will be provided. We will also provide a concrete parking pad in front of your home. Rent starts at $260 per month, an addtional fee for lawn mowing and snow removal from your driveway. We also have a Community Building with monthly activities.
